## Description/Job Summary
The purpose of the Electrician Lead is to maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, perform preventative maintenance and install electrical equipment within and around the facilities, supervise class A, B, C & Senior Electricians, so as to keep the production operational and have zero loss of production chargeable to electrical maintenance. Responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks in a timely manner.
## Responsibilities/Duties
1. Supervise and oversee the completion of Preventative Maintenance and other work orders in a timely and accurate fashion.
2. Generate work orders as necessary repairs are discovered.
3. Use programming knowledge of PLC's, Panel view Programming, and Weight tronix Simpose Software.
4. Diagnose repairs to circuit board level.
5. Read and understand electronic and electrical schematic diagrams
6. Respond to emergency breakdowns during both on and off duty hours to ensure operations continue on a 24 hours a day basis.
7. Generates and submits paperwork relative to work performed, such as daily work orders, parts requisitions and any related to meetings safety, etc
8. Perform all equipment repairs and daily work within OSHA regulations, lockout /tag-out, and Perdue safety book guidelines.
9. Communicate as necessary to all other Electricians daily issues issue, fixes, needed repairs, emergency repairs, as well as any needed scheduled repairs needed for weekend work.
10. Coordinate with contractors on necessary repairs and projects
## Required Experience
Reading, writing, math and analytical skills required.
Exposed to existing weather conditions while outside work is performed willing and able to work around dust, feathers, animals, and various cleaning chemicals
Must be NFPA 70E, CPR and First Aid Certified.
Exposed to air born dust, chemicals such as hexane, caustic soda, but a one, ethanol, aluminum chloride.
Must have the ability to move through the facility and carry required equipment, tools which could weigh as much as 100lbs.
Must wear required safety equipment including self-containing breathing apparatus as required.
Must wear FR rated clothing as required.
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience as Industrial Electrician in Poultry industry preferred.
