Schedule: Full time 80 (Two week Payperiod)
Shift: Days
Salary: Pay Grade 90 (Minimum hourly rate $16.15/hr)
Job Details:
The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of registration and insurance functions. Ensures the department is adequately staffed during hours of operation and that all team members receive appropriate registration training and continuing education. Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills at all times, including in difficult situations.
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field is preferred. Requires three years of experience in Patient Access (or Billing) in an Acute Care facility. Must be proficient in computer skills including MS Office applications. Must be knowledgeable in the operations of registration and insurance functions. Requires exceptional customer service, team building skills, analytical and problem solving abilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
