The Marketing & Communications Specialist assists the marketing and communications effort for Bayhealth Medical Center, through providing support for various public relations duties, including contacting members of the print and broadcast media with story ideas about Bayhealth and handling requests, writing news/press releases for distribution to the media, internal publications, and generating flyers/brochures. Strives to meet deadlines and to exceed our internal and external customer expectations; following the organization s approval process for publications.
Candidates must have an Associate s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations, or four (4) years of experience working as a public relations specialist. Candidates must also have one (1) year previous experience working with the news media (print or broadcast media); two (2) years working with the news media, writing and special events preferred. Candidates must also have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Photo Editing, and Adobe Writer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
