## Description/Job Summary
This position is responsible for the operation and upkeep of the plants vital utility system to include: Plant refrigeration systems, Plant compressed air systems and plant boiler and stream systems.
## Responsibilities/Duties
1. Supervise the team to include selecting, training, and developing staff to meet the needs of the department. Schedule boiler and refrigeration personnel to insure proper coverage
2. Oversee maintenance repairs as well as improvement projects comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements and regulations. Ensure plant is in compliance with all OSHA programs to include PSM and RMP programs and documentation. Promote safety throughout Safety team.
3. Develop and deploy maintenance improvement programs and projects that improve boiler and refrigeration and plant infrastructure equipment performance and reliability.
4. Monitor plant boilers and scheduler repairs and inspections as required.
5. Oversee plant water treatment system for boilers and cooling towers.
6. Maintain plant chillers and chiller chemical injection systems.
7. Oversee and maintain plant roofing systems, monitoring for degradation and leaks and scheduling repairs and replacement.
8. Monitor and coordinate for repairs for natural gas system.
9,. Maintain plant water systems to include city and well systems.
10. Maintain plant loading docks and dock plates to insure functionality scheduling repairs and replacement as needed.
11. Coordinate repair and maintenance of plant cafeteria.
12. Insure functionality of plant infrastructure to include:
A. Heating and cooling
B. Lighting
C. Water
D. Security Systems
E. Gating and fencing
F. Parking lots
G. Building structural systems
## Required Experience
1. 5 to 10 years maintenance experience 5 years in a supervisory role.
2. High School diploma or GED Equivalent
3. Ability to read and write English
4. Excellent mathematical and analytical ability
5. Basic Computer skills
## Preferred Experience
1. 5 to 10 years ammonia refrigeration experience
2. RETA certification a plus
3. Working knowledge of boiler operations and steam systems.
4. Working knowledge of water treatment systems
5. Working knowledge of Air compressors and compressed air systems.
6. Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, welding, hydraulics and automated controls.
