Description/Job Summary
This position assists with the Human Resources transactional processing for employee and applicants within the Milford Plant. Serves as a point of contact for applicants, associates, supervisors and managers.
1. Schedules daily interviews for plant staff via email phone and in person.
2. Coordinates with Staffing Recruiter and Hourly Interviewer to ensure all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met. Assists with correspondence to candidates, tracks/schedules physicals and assists with new hire orientation scheduling.
3. Creates files for new hires and reviews new hire documentation.
4. Maintains and ensures accuracy of identity and eligibility to work in the United States in accordance with laws and regulatory requirements; re-verify expired documentations when required and maintains applicant record in database.
5. Greets and assists visitors and callers referring them to sources of information, distributing appropriate forms and explaining procedures.
6. Assists with a variety of human resource transactions to assure timeliness, accuracy and proper processing.
7. Works independently with minimum supervision.
8. Assists with translations from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
9. Maintains plant associate files,
10. Assist with tracking performance reviews and maintaining unemployment log.
11. Other duties as required.
Required Skills
Required Experience
Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: Interpersonal skills, memory, attention to detail, follow directions, comprehension, calculating, reading, writing, speaking, evaluating, mathematics, organizing and innovation.
Must have at least 1-2 years related work experience.
Good client/customer service skills.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively with a team.
Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
Must speak and read Spanish.
Required Education
AA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent related experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
