Come join WWT today Role Purpose A business analyst focuses on the functioning of the business with empathy toward the end user.
They use their analysis skills and expertise to help our business grow and succeed by examining different aspects of their operations to identify improvement areas.
They perform feasibility analyses, risk management reviews, design processes, and create technology requirements to maximize business operations.
They do all of this with the end-user experience in mind.
Requirements Clearly understands the needs related to the product by working closely with the BSM, Product Owner, SMEs, and other business partners to communicate the product vision and clients needs to the team.
Conducts the necessary research and analysis to ensure the appropriate information and context are available for the team to conduct productive story-writing sessions.
Translates business operational needs into data, process, and solution requirements with empathy for the end user; guides future uses of process, data, and technology and educates on solutions and initiatives.
Reviews or creates process and flow maps to document the business domain.
Documents any business rules and logic needed to incorporate a business process into the system.
Documents and identifies story dependencies to help facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization.
Assists the Product Owner with managing feature and story maps to help them facilitate product strategy decisions, release planning, and prioritization of work.
Assists the Product Owner with defining what business value means to the client and how to assess each feature/story based on that business value to help maximize the value the team delivers.
Qualifications 3-5 years of related experience Required Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with business process modeling tools Experience conducting user research and associated tools Knowledge of various business analysis tools and methodologies Project and priority management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities Preferred Familiarity or working experience with AI, Salesforce, and other Web UI Knowledge of SLDC frameworks including Agile and Scaled Agile The well-being of WWT employees is essential.
